Meditation Journey

As I was meditating and painting, I began to feel the movement of my brush strokes, breathing with each movement. Letting my body float into the art, surrounding me with beautiful colors. Journeying deeper into this painting I wrote this meditation... As you take a couple of minutes to settle in, letting your eyes gaze at the piece of art. If you give your eyes freedom to roam, where on the painting would they like to look? Where do your eyes like to rest? Maybe notice the contrast of dark and light or notice the intensity of the color. Or maybe find pleasure in the softness. Just for a moment, notice any sensations you may be feeling. Perhaps you may allow yourself to become one with the painting. Allow your body to float into the art, let it surround you. Beautiful colors, soft colors, dark colors, soothing colors. You may bring awareness to the reflection of the gold. Let the warmth slowly, gently cover your body. Feel the lusciousness. Receive this bath of exquisite color.
