Whether I spend time in Nature or forage interior emotional territory,
these paintings are embedded in life through memory and imagination.
They are personal narratives. The stories they tell are universal, each
part of a connective thread that is our essential humanness. They are an
acknowledgment that life is truly an enigma, and being present in it is
the best we can do.
